Alkyl Polyglycoside (APG)

Description

Alkyl Polyglycoside is a non-ionic surfactant derived from renewable raw materials such as glucose (from corn or potato starch) and fatty alcohols (from coconut or palm kernel oil). It is known for its excellent biodegradability, low toxicity, and mildness to skin. APGs are versatile, environmentally friendly surfactants with good foaming, wetting, and cleaning properties. They are compatible with other surfactants and stable over a wide pH range.

Storage

• Store in a cool, dry, well-ventilated area
• Keep away from heat sources and direct sunlight
• Recommended storage temperature: 5-40°C
• Keep containers tightly closed when not in use
• Shelf life: 24 months from date of manufacture when stored properly
• Avoid contact with strong oxidizing agents

Handling Precautions

• Use appropriate personal protective equipment (gloves, goggles)
• Ensure good ventilation during handling
• In case of spillage, contain and absorb with inert material
• Dispose of in accordance with local regulations
